2017 NLC Recap
Last month, ATFS hosted the 2017 National Leadership Conference in Greenville, South Carolina. This annual leadership development conference brings together leaders, volunteers and partners of ATFS for three days of networking and information-sharing. The 2017 event hosted more than 215 guests, including more than 78 first-time attendees, and featured a robust agenda of engaging speakers. A re-cap of the conference can be found online, along with a slide show and many links to some of the resources shared during the conference.
One of the highlights of this conference every year is the recognition of outstanding volunteers. In Greenville, we were honored to recognize Tom Westergreen as the 2017 National Outstanding Inspector of the Year alongside Mike Smalligan as the 2017 National Leadership Award recipient. Congratulations, again, to these outstanding leaders, as well as all of the 2017 Regional Outstanding Inspectors of the Year. We look forward to continuing to recognize these individuals throughout the year.
Planning is already underway for the 2018 event which will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico from January 31 – February 2, 2018. We hope you will make plans to join us there!
Sincerely,
Kristina Duff
