Q: What is ATFS looking for in the Notes Section of the 004 Inspection Form?
A: The “Notes” section is a space to provide any necessary explanations, or to include any additional interesting or pertinent information about the Tree Farm or Tree Farmer not appropriate elsewhere on the form. You might use this space to note that the landowner hosts field days for the local community, participates in other programs, such as State Stewardship or tax abatement, or that the Tree Farm is a candidate for Tree Farmer of the Year.
